Mark Williamson, car chairman, asked the board’s permission to maintain the grounds of the track. The Board gave him permission. We are still having trouble with non-members, both cars and flyers, coming in when the gate is open and littering the grounds. The Board will implement a policy of locking the gate after noon on weekends to help keep the field clean.

April 28, 2007 - Over the past 3 years I have been occasionally monitoring the frequencies (72mhz and 75mhz) at our Flying field and car track. The Palomar Club has a frequency scanner that can be programmed to scan just about any band of frequencies that is needed. Hello everyone, well here we are again smack into a brand new year. What happened to the last one. Did Santa bring you the plane or engine that you wanted? I hope you all had a good time at the banquet. The turn out was excellent and no fights broke out. Our little string band did a good job of entertaining us and the food was good. Sorry for the slight delay in getting started but there was a small glitch due to unexpected circumstances. Thanks to all of you for voting me in for your President for 2007, I’ll try to live up to it.
