About The Event
Join Palomar R/C Flyers and the Academy of Model Aeronautics Foundation in celebrating model aviation for the eigth annual National Model Aviation Day, August 15, 2020. National Model Aviation Day was created to encourage clubs to celebrate the hobby and share it with the public. The AMA is devoted to inspiring the young and young-at-heart to pursue a hobby that will inspire creativity and advanced learning through the use of hands-on applications.

• Combat Demo 9-9:30
• Warplanes and Jets 10-10:30
• Aerotow 11-11:30
• Flight Training Demonstration 11:30
• 3D Heli Demo — 12-12:30 at runway
• Home Building — All day
• Chuck Gliders — All Day
• Air Rockets — All Day
• Foamies — Dirt Area — All Day
• Helicopters — All Day
• Open Flying all day between other categories
• FPV “Rides” all day
• Candy Drop at 1 PM
