JUNK DRAWER MODEL CHALLENGE

We invite you to join an old Lot 19, Borrego Springs, Alabama Hills, and Lake Casitas tradition called the Junk Drawer Model Challenge. It is the opposite of the Model of the Month award. In this activity, participants build

a flying object from pieces of old models and any other appropriate or inappropriate household junk that you think it needs.

The object is to build it on the cheap with stuff on hand - purchasing new parts or materials is considered bad form. However, new, original, designs and aircraft from foam board are allowed. You must not build your flying contraption from a kit or plans. Let your imagination be your guide! If you build it, they will come!
