For all of you who haven't heard the story of Captain Royce Williams' encounter with 7 MIG 15's during the Korean War, please watch the link to the KUSI news report on YouTube video. Royce is a neighbor of ours living in the Hidden Meadows community north of Escondido. We need the help of all club members to call the office of our California Senator Alex Padilla to ask him to sponsor the nomination of Captain E. Royce Williams to receive the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions of November 18, 1952.

 

Please call his office at (619) 239-3884 x-2 and leave the following message in your own words....

 

I respectfully request Senator Alex Padilla to sponsor the inclusion of Captain E. Royce Williams as a Medal of Honor recipient  in the Senate version of the upcoming 2023 National Defense Authorization Act that is currently in conference. This has already passed in the House so please put your support behind this National hero.
